MY MISHCA

Mica: "Tita Ninang, i-picture mo ko yung may baby...1..2..3...smile!"

This is Sophia Michaela, Mica for short. My brother's daughter. My inaanak. Sobrang love ko talaga sha and she brings so much joy to our family. She just turned 4 last Nov. 5.

Very smart na bagets.
We're partners in crime - matulog every afternoon, malling, food trip, watch cartoons and even teleserye and movies. Kahit magkasama kami the whole day, never a dull moment with her. Love ko talaga sha.

Share ko lang ha, one afternoon, when I was asleep, nag-drawing sha sa etch-a-sketch nya, I asked her "sino yan baby?":

Mica: "Ninang, ikaw yan at saka ako habang natutulog..." ? kaloka diba?

DAVAO...HERE I COME!!!!

Departure from MNL-DVO

Above is my eticket for my upcoming Davao trip on November 19-27. This is my first time to go on a solo trip - nakakahiya man sabihin, it'll be my first time to ride a plane hehehe. I will visit my sister and her family there. This is gonna be so exciting since it's my first time to travel alone....my mom is worried because it'll be my first time and I'll take an evening flight for my departure, I told her, ok lang, I want to experience the thrill of travelling alone....

By the way, Thanks to Cebu Pacific for the very nice promotion they have. Luckily I was able to book the Zero Fare promo they had. Yes, it's zero on base fare and taxes; you just have to pay the Terminal Fee of PhP200/way. Additional PhP300 for the 15kg baggage if you booked the No bag, Zero Fare. One tip: booking the 0 Fare promotion should be done PER WAY, meaning, you book One-way flight for the departure and return flight separately.

Here's what I'll be spending on my departure flight: P500 - not bad

For the return flight, there's on top of the P500. - Of course, my pasalubong for my fam and friends. hehehe

My accomodation will be sponsored by my dear sister, Ate Cheng and her hubby, Kuya Hector. "THANK YOU!"

I'm looking forward on this trip and gusto ko talaga mag-beach galore - yan talaga ni-request ko sa ate ko. hahaha

I am counting the days for this grand vacation. This will be all about relaxation and fun. A getaway from work. My much awaited vacation. I am so excited and can't wait to see my 3 very cute pamangkins. I miss them so much. :)

Yes, I am nervous 'coz I'll be travelling alone. I'm gonna make sure this will be a memorable one. :)

My cam will be my constant companion and more pictures on my trip! Abangan!

MOVING FORWARD....

-17 °C

thumb_emotera1.jpg

I haven't been blogging for quite some time now. been busy with a lot of stuff.

A few weeks ago, I prepared for a very important job application. Been through tremendous assessment and all the interviews. Unfortunately, I did not make it. Honestly, it was devastating coz it was one of the jobs that I dreamed of. No one even expected it to happen. Why did it happen when everything seemed to be so perfect? :( Only God knows why. At first, I questioned Him, even thought that He has forgotten me. I prayed sooo hard to get it; but I came to realize maybe it's not yet my time to leave the country, perhaps He has something better in store for me. I almost lose hope, and yes, I am still on the process of recovering from the loss. Mom said that if it's for me, then I'll get it.

I am thankful for I have my family and friends surrounding me. To those who let me feel their presence during these times, "Thank You".

I'm ok and will continue to move on. I'm looking forward on other job opportunities and will never stop until I get it. What happened was a learning experience and made me a better person. Life is not always a bed of roses. If I should learn the hard way, then I'll go for it. We should not count what we lost, instead cherish what we have and plan what to gain. The past never returns but the future may fulfill the loss.

I NEED YOUR PRAYERS

hi everyone,

DSC00124.jpg

I have a very, very important thing to do on the next coming days. It is an opportunity I have been waiting for so long. It has something to do with my career and my future so I have to give my 100% focus on this. I am asking everyone to please pray for me. I am hopefully praying that my friends and I will make it. Friends, include me in your prayers.

Thanks and God Bless us all. :)

Until my next blog.

Bloggingly yours,

Raelene

A DAY WITH MY FAMILY AT MANILA OCEAN PARK

Paula2_129.jpg
FLORES FAMILY at MANILA OCEAN PARK
sorry for the blurred photo! :(

Last June 2008, my family and I went to Manila Ocean Park. It was a very exciting tour since it'll be everyone's first time to visit the Oceanarium; especially our little one, my niece Mica.

The Manila Ocean Park is located behind the Quirino Grandstand, in Luneta. The park is open from 10am-9pm, Mondays through Sundays. The Entrance Fee for adults is PHP400 (approximately US$10) and PHP350 (approximately US$9) for children.

here are some of them:

hindi sila yung mga dilis...at di sila kinakain... :)

Very impressive ang facilities, even the aquariums are so clean. High maintenance for the state-of-the-art Ocean Park.

This is one of my memorable trips with my family. Sayang nasa Davao na sila Ate Cheng and my nieces (Kass, Oona and Gab) di sila nakasama. Hopefully on our next trip, kasama na sila!

I'd give a high 5 for Manila Ocean Park!
